Admire Her Style: Anja Rubik

So here is the first post in a new series that I'm making called, Admire Her Style. This series will document my favorite style icons and street style mavens.

First up is the beautiful Anja Rubik.  Anja is a Polish model that dominates the street style world.  Her looks range from classic with the ever sophisticated camel trench coat and the perfect black pump to perfectly edgy with her quilted leather bomber jackets and sheer skirts. She strikes a perfect balance in all her looks that keep me wanting more and guessing what she will wear next.

Below are some of my all time favorite looks of hers. xxGlenna

School Work

So I don't know about you but all I want at school is to be comfy.  Now, that is sometimes difficult when I still want to look fashionable, classy, sophisticated, and well put together. All over the runways and blogs, fashion forward gym clothes have been all the rave.  This trend is perfect for someone like me who lives in sweatpants.  Since classes are starting up again, I thought it would be the perfect time to create a collection to give ideas about how to wear your sweatshirts, sweatpants, and sneakers to class and still look amazing.

Hello Again!

Hey guys! So I know I haven't made a post in months but I have an excuse!  I just finished my first semester at a new university and was so crammed with work and family stuff that I just didn't have time to make quality posts.  But I'm off for winter break now so hopefully I will form a schedule for posting.  I love blogging and being creative within the fashion and beauty fields so I really am going to try to stick with it.  xx Glenna

Linear

Stripes are such a classic.  They are versatile, timeless, and flattering.  Over the past few months, I have been getting really into the look of stripes on all articles of clothing.   I know sometimes they may be a bit intimidating.  The time old tale that horizontal stripes make you look wider.  While this may be true, there are ways to navigate around that (as put in some of the sets below).  However, vertical stripes are the most flattering.  They elongate you, thin your problem areas, and generally are easy to wear.  For a bit of stripey inspiration, look below. xx Glenna

Style Save

With backpacks being all the rage at the moment, their prices will skyrocket.  While I was browsing cheaper options on Forever 21's website, I stumbled across this lovely black bag that looks nearly identical to the Row's Mini backpack.  The difference between the two? The price! The Forever 21 version is $2,817 cheaper than the designer option.  Obviously F21 doesn't make their backpacks out of quality leather like the Row but, how can one pass up this style steal?
